Jennifer Blatstein, MA, LAPC, ATR®

Jen views healing as both a psychological and deeply personal journey, one rooted in the belief that each of us carries an innate wisdom, accessible through presence, creativity, and compassionate self-exploration.

You don't need to consider yourself an artist to benefit from art therapy. What matters most is a willingness to show up. Whether through artmaking, conversation, or a blend of both, Jen offers a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can be exactly as you are, and work toward deeper self-understanding, greater resilience, and a renewed sense of balance.

Jen works from a trauma-informed, attachment-based perspective, recognizing how past experiences shape the nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. She supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and religious or spiritual trauma, always meeting each person's story with care and respect.

Though she has a special focus on women moving through life transitions, moments that often stir questions of identity, purpose, and self-worth, Jen also works with men and teens, offering a grounded, nurturing space for growth and emotional development.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready to know yourself more deeply, you don't have to find your way alone. Jen is here to walk alongside you.

My Story

From a young age, Jen found safety and power in creating. Whatever was happening around her, art offered a place where time slowed, emotions softened, and something like peace could emerge. Creativity wasn't just an activity… it was a refuge.

That foundation led her to art therapy, which she discovered at a health career fair in college. The pull was immediate. Here was a field built on the idea that creativity can open doors to parts of ourselves that words alone often can't reach, a belief that continues to shape her work with every client she sees.

What unfolds in sessions is both expressive and restorative: a space to explore emotional depth, process lived experience, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels genuinely meaningful.
